The Minister of Economy and Labor, Besar Durmishi, together with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor, Marjan Risteski, the Director of the State Market Inspectorate, Vlatko Stojkoski, and representatives of the Commission for Protection of Competition, held a meeting today with representatives of the largest retail chains and distributors in the country.
At the meeting was discussed the draft decision of the Ministry of Economy and Labor to limit the gross profit margin to 10% in wholesale trade and 10% in retail trade of some essential food products and hygiene products.
The traders and distributors presented their suggestions and comments, which the Ministry of Economy and Labor will further analyze.
At the meeting, it was agreed the final decision to be made during the next week.
