Creating conditions for greater productivity of domestic companies, as well as identifying the challenges they face in their operations, were some of the topics discussed by Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor, Marjan Risteski, at the national conference "Productivity and its Main Drivers of Economic Growth and Competitiveness" organized by the Employers' Organization of Macedonia.
"The Government and the Ministry of Economy and Labor are working hard to improve the business climate in our country, by implementing a large number of reforms and measures, both in helping companies and the economy by providing access to new sources of financing on favorable terms, and by removing all barriers and obstacles that exist in our society and institutions," said Deputy Minister Risteski.
Risteski referred to the activities undertaken by the Government and the Ministries to support domestic companies and improve their productivity, and highlighted as the most important the financial support and provision of funds for investment by companies through the Hungarian loan in the amount of EUR250 million on exceptionally favorable terms, the uncompromising fight against corruption, as well as the reforms in the regulation and the digitalization of the services of public institutions in order to reduce administrative procedures and accelerate economic processes.
As part of the conference, which is organized on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of the Employers' Organization of Macedonia, the findings of the research on the topic "Productivity and its main drivers of economic growth and competitiveness" were presented to the attendees.
