The Minister of Economy and Labor, Mr. Besar Durmishi, held a protocol meeting today with the Charge’D’Affaires of the State of Qatar to the Republic of North Macedonia, H.E. Mr. Rashid Bin Saeed Alkhayareen.
The two interlocutors discussed further promotion of economic relations between the two countries. Special emphasis was placed on deepening cooperation in the areas of investments, employment and infrastructure projects of mutual interest.
The conversation emphasized the need to promote trade exchange, as well as deepen cooperation in sectors such as agribusiness, processing industry, logistics, ICT and tourism.
Minister Durmishi reiterated the readiness of the Ministry of Economy and Labor to be an active partner and service to Qatari investors, and to provide support in the implementation of specific projects.
The meeting ended with a joint commitment to increase economic dynamics and strengthen bilateral relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the State of Qatar.
