The Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor, Marjan Risteski, is leading the Macedonian delegation participating in the Fourth Fair for Cooperation among China and the Countries of Central and Eastern Europe for the Exchange of Goods and Trade (China-CEEC Expo 2025), which is being held in the city of Ningbo from May 22 to 25.
Besides Risteski, the Macedonian delegation is composed of representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, as well as 14 Macedonian companies participating in the fair.
The China-CEEC Expo 2025 is being held this year under the title "A New Vision for the Future", and will feature more than 100 special events, with the goal of developing trade cooperation between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as presenting investment opportunities.
During the visit, Risteski met with the Deputy Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China in charge of foreign trade, Mr. Ling Ji, where they discussed the economic cooperation between the two countries so far.
Deputy Ministers Risteski and Ji agreed that the economic cooperation between the two countries is at a high level and that there is great potential and opportunities for its expansion. They pledged to actively work towards strengthening communication for the stable development of economic and trade relations between the two countries.
The mechanism for cooperation between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe (CEEC) exists since 2012 and has so far yielded excellent results, and at the last three fairs, more than 3.000 companies from the CEI have presented their products.
