Information days to present the measures from the Operational Employment Plan for 2026 were held today in the municipalities of Sveti Nikole and Negotino.
To the residents of the municipalities of Sveti Nikole and Negotino, Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor Marjan Risteski, Director of the Agency for Innovation, Scientific and Technological Development and Entrepreneurship INOVA Daniela Dimovska and Deputy Director of the Employment Agency Vesna Peshova presented the measures from the Operational Plan, with an emphasis on the three sub-measures of the measure for self-employment (entrepreneurship), where Public Calls have been announced and all interested parties can apply until July 3.
- The Operational Plan for 2026 is focused on creating new jobs, and of course the main measure is precisely this one for awarding grants for opening one's own businesses, where this year MKD1.377.303.780 or EUR22.3 million are foreseen, making it a measure that covers the largest percentage of the Operational Plan's budget. With this measure, we enable 2.043 persons to start their own business, which is an increase of 313 persons compared to last year. The interest is great and more than 1300 applications were received in the first two days - said Deputy Minister Risteski.
This year, the "Self-Employment - Entrepreneurship" measure is divided into 3 sub-measures, where assistance of up to EUR10.000 is provided for people under 29 years of age, up to EUR7.000 for people over 29 years of age, and from EUR14.000 to 20.000 through association in a LLC.
The Mayors of Sveti Nikole Dejan Vladev, Negotino Marija Naceva, Gradsko Kiro Natskov, Demir Kapija Natalija Dimitrieva and Rosoman Gjorgji Krstevski called on the residents of these municipalities to take advantage of the benefits of this measure, as well as the other measures from the Operational Plan, and to apply to one of the Public Calls.
