Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor, Marjan Risteski, addressed the opening of the third Small Business Fair in Kumanovo, an event at which artisans, representatives of micro and small enterprises and family companies had the opportunity to present and exhibit their products at the Craft's House in Kumanovo.
At the opening of the fair, in addition to Deputy Minister Risteski, the attendees were also greeted by the Mayor of Kumanovo, Maksim Dimitrievski, and the President of the Regional Chamber of Crafts from Kumanovo, Agron Fazliji.
In his address, Deputy Minister Risteski emphasized that such events are necessary for the preservation and promotion of craftsmanship, which is an integral part of our culture and tradition, and he also referred to the measures that the Ministry of Economy and Labor is implementing to assist the artisans and crafts associations.
- The Ministry of Economy and Labor continuously supports the artisans and craft chambers through a large number of measures in the Programs of our Ministry, such as subsidies for artisans for the purchase of tools and equipment, as well as support for co-financing projects of craft chambers and foundations that relate to strengthening the capacities of the artisans to improve their competitiveness. In addition, all artisans have at their disposal the measures from the Operational Plan for Employment where they can apply for additional assistance and funds - said Risteski.
The Small Business Fair is organized by the Regional Chamber of Crafts and the Municipality of Kumanovo, and the goal of the Fair is to promote local production, crafts and handicrafts.
