The Ministry of Economy and Labor, through the Employment Agency, launched the Public Call for the measure "Support for the creation of new jobs through green investments", which is part of the Operational Plan for Active Programs and Measures for Employment and Services on the Labor Market for 2025.
This measure enables the inclusion of 200 unemployed people - active job seekers, who will be employed in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that will invest in green technologies, products and processes.
Financial support is awarded in the form of non-refundable grants from MKD250.000 to MKD750.000, depending on the number of newly created jobs:
- MKD250.000 for one new employment,
- MKD500.000 for two new employments,
- MKD750.000 for three new employments.
Through this support, companies will be able to finance the purchase of new equipment and machinery, software and licenses, equipment for renewable energy sources, as well as materials for energy efficiency.
Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from the private sector that meet the conditions stipulated in the Public Call are eligible to participate, with priority given to companies from the following sectors: processing industry, agriculture, forestry and water management, water supply and waste management, construction and transport.
The Public Call is open until September 1, 2025. Interested employers can apply at the Employment Centers every working day from 08:00 to 14:00. The conditions, rights and obligations between EARNM, UNDP and the enterprises that have been approved for non-refundable financial support will be regulated by concluding mutual agreements.
The enterprise has the opportunity to add its own funds to the awarded financial support for higher value procurement.
