An information day was held in Kocani today on the active measures of the Operational Employment Plan for 2026 and the Public Call for proposals under the measure "Employment and Growth of Legal Entities".
In front of a large number of representatives of the business sector, Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor Marjan Risteski presented the benefits arising from this measure.
- The measure "Employment and Growth of Legal Entities" provides support for the creation of new jobs in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, social enterprises and civil society organizations. With it, we provide financial support for the employment of people, where one company can apply for subsidies for up to 5 new jobs, and the amount of support varies according to the category of people and amounts to MKD160.000 to 250.000 per person, or a total of MKD800.000 to 1.250.000 for five people. To date, the Employment Agency centers have received applications from 1.373 companies for the employment of more than 1.700 people - said Deputy Minister Risteski.
The Mayor of Kocani, Dr. Vladko Grozdanov, noted that this measure is quite popular and that 69 people were employed through it last year, while the Employment Agency center in Kocani has received over 80 applications so far. He called on all interested companies to apply and take advantage of the benefits that the Government and the Ministry of Economy and Labor are offering with this measure.

The Public Call for the measure "Employment and Growth of Legal Entities" lasts until July 24 (Friday) 2026.
