Deputy Minister Risteski presented the measures from the Operational Plan for Employment at the Chamber of Crafts-Skopje

At the invitation of the Chamber of Crafts - Skopje, Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor Marjan Risteski presented the active measures from the Operational Employment Plan for 2026 today at the Chamber.

 

There are currently two active Public Calls from the Operational Plan, the first is for the sub-measure "Employment and Growth of Legal Entities", while the second is "On-the-Job Training with a Specific Employer".

 

- The measure "On-the-job training with a specific employer" aims to improve the skills and qualifications of unemployed people for their more successful integration into the labor market. This measure is intended to cover 50 unemployed people, who will undergo training with a specific employer over a period of 3 months. For this period, people who will attend training will receive a monthly allowance of MKD12.000, including insurance, while the employer will be paid a one-time amount of MKD30.000 per trained person after completing the training - said Deputy Minister Risteski.

 

After completing the training, the employer is obliged to employ at least 50% of the persons included in the training on a full-time basis for a period of at least 3 months. The maximum number of persons to be included in the training is 3 persons if an employer with one employee applies. The maximum number of persons to be included in the training at one employer is 12 persons, depending on the number of employees.

 

The Public Call is "On-the-job training with a specific employer" lasts until 30.11.2026 or until the planned scope of persons is completed.

 

The second Public Call "Employment and growth of legal entities" provides support for the creation of new jobs in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, social enterprises and civil society organizations. With the measure, a company can apply for a maximum of 5 new jobs, and the amount varies according to the category of persons from MKD160.000 to 250.000, which means that the largest support for a company can be up to MKD1.250.000.

 

The Public Call for the measure "Employment and Growth of Legal Entities" is active until Friday (July 24, 2026).

 

The President of the Chamber of Crafts - Skopje, Goran Ristov, called on the artisans who are interested in the measures to apply and take advantage of the planned support.

 

All interested persons and employers can obtain all information, procedures and necessary documents for applying for Public Calls at the work clubs of the 30 Employment Centers of the Employment Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia, the contact center 02-3111-850 and the website (https://av.gov.mk/).
