Young people gain practical experience: The Ministry of Economy and Labor opened its doors to students from vocational schools

The Ministry of Economy and Labor, in order to promote cooperation between educational institutions and the public sector, in accordance with the Law on Vocational Education and Training, signed Memorandums of Cooperation with the secondary vocational schools "Cvetan Dimov" and "Arsenij Jovkov". This cooperation opens up new opportunities for the practical application of knowledge among young people, as part of their professional preparation.

Practical classes for students from SUGS "Cvetan Dimov" began on November 4, 2025 and are being held in the premises of the Ministry of Economy and Labor, four hours a day, according to a set schedule by department. The process includes departments such as finance, accounting, industrial policies and investments, where students will have the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and skills under the mentorship of experienced officials.

The Ministry provides appropriate conditions for the implementation of the teaching – workplaces, materials and professional supervision – in order for the practical training to contribute to better preparedness of young people for inclusion in the labor market.

This project represents a significant step towards connecting education with the real needs of the labor market, encouraging professionalism and responsibility among young people. The Ministry provides appropriate working conditions – premises, materials and mentoring support – in order for students to receive quality and applicable practical training.

With this model of cooperation, the Ministry of Economy and Labor confirms its commitment to investing in young people, creating trained and competent future professionals, who will contribute to the development of the economy and society as a whole.

The schedule of students and mentors has been submitted to all parties involved, and mentors will be notified in a timely manner about further activities and coordination.
