The Employment Agency, in coordination with the Ministry of Economy and Labor, launched the new Public Calls from the Operational Plan for Active Programs and Measures for Employment and Labor Market Services for 2025.

With this year's plan, the Government is investing a record over EUR40 million to support active employment, retraining, self-employment and support for entrepreneurship. The measures are expected to reach more than 16.000 unemployed persons through various programs, training and subsidized employment opportunities.

The new Public Calls are part of the Operational Plan for Active Employment Programs and Measures and Labor Market Services for 2025, with which the Government continues its continuous support for active employment, retraining and human capital development. The aim of these measures is to encourage entrepreneurship, improve skills and facilitate the integration of unemployed persons into the labor market.

The first measure, "Advanced Business Training" (measure 3.6), is intended for persons up to 45 years of age who want to acquire new knowledge and skills in the field of business and professional development, in order to increase their competitiveness and faster employment. Within the framework of this pilot measure, it is planned to include 120 unemployed persons, and MKD13.8 million have been allocated for it. The trainings are licensed and are completed with a recognized international certificate. The program includes four directions: "Marketing Specialist with AI Applications", "Materials Control Specialist", "Project Manager" and "Quality Control Specialist". Unemployed persons can apply for participation until November 30, 2025 or until the planned number of candidates is filled.

The second measure, "Trainings on Entrepreneurship, Business Planning and Business Skills Development" (measure 3.5), provides training for individuals who want to develop or start their own business. The trainings will last four days, with a total of 24 hours of instruction, and will be implemented according to a program that covers all key aspects of running a business - from the concept of entrepreneurship and digitalization, to finance, sales, marketing and investment plan. The planned scope is 500 persons, with a budget of around MKD4 million. Upon completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate that allows them to be included in the self-employment program, directly in the business plan development phase.

Interested persons can submit an application to the nearest Employment Center by November 30, 2025. The Ministry of Economy and Labor and the Employment Agency remain committed to implementing measures that enable new employment opportunities, encourage innovation and support the development of human potential.
