Working meeting of Deputy Minister Risteski with representatives of the business sector in Delchevo and Berovo

Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor, Marjan Risteski, held working meetings today with representatives of the business sector and artisan associations in Delchevo and Berovo. 

At the meetings, Risteski, together with representatives from the Employment Agency, presented the measures to support the Macedonian economy and companies provided by the Ministry of Economy and Labor, as well as the Employment Agency through the Operational Plan for Active Programs and Measures for Employment and Services on the Labor Market for 2025. 

At the meetings, Risteski referred to some of the measures implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Labor to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the support for artisans and Chambers of Crafts. 

- The Ministry of Economy and Labor, through its work programs, allocates financial resources to support Macedonian enterprises, to increase their competitiveness and social responsibility, to digitalize the work processes of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as to introduce international standards in their work. This year, we also provide standard support to the Chambers of Crafts, through project support, as well as to artisans by providing financial resources for the purchase of equipment and tools. As the Government, we are here to support you in your growth and development, therefore I appeal to you to follow the various competitions and public calls announced by the Government and Ministries and if you have the interest and opportunity to apply to them - said Deputy Minister Risteski. 

Deputy Minister Risteski and Deputy Director of the Employment Agency, Vesna Peshova, appealed to those present at both meetings to follow the employment agency's announcements and to apply to the public announcements from the measures of the Operational Plan for 2025, which this year has a record budget of over EUR40 million. 

At the meetings, representatives of the business sector gave positive opinions about the measures of the Government and Ministries for support of the companies, and they also presented several ideas and proposals for better development of the economy in the Maleshevo ​​region.
