Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor, Marjan Risteski, at the invitation of the Mayor of Kisela Voda, Beti Stamenkoska-Trajkoska, attended the event "Building Trust and Networking of Business People from the Municipality of Kisela Voda" attended by a large number of representatives of the business sector in this Skopje municipality.
At the event, Deputy Minister Risteski presented some of the measures that the Government and the Ministry of Economy and Labor are offering to support the domestic economy and the plans for 2026.
- In 2026, the Ministry of Economy and Labor will support domestic companies for their growth and development in order to increase their capacities, which would make them more competitive on both the domestic and international markets. This year, within the framework of the Operational Plan for Employment, companies will also have more measures at their disposal, such as financial support for increasing the number of employees in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as support for green investments and the "green transition" of companies. As of this year, the measures arising from the Law on Financial Support of Investments, where financial assistance is provided for companies in order to stimulate economic growth, create new jobs and increase competitiveness, said Deputy Minister Risteski.
Mayor Stamenkoska-Trajkoska stated at the meeting that Kisela Voda is a transparent municipality with excellent communication and attitude towards the business sector. She added that in the coming period, a Register of Companies will be established in the municipality for the purpose of better communication, faster information and easier networking between companies.
Risteski and Mayor Stamenkoska Trajkoska emphasized the importance of improving the local business climate through the implementation of projects and measures by local and state institutions. Local micro, small and medium-sized companies are of great importance for the overall economic situation in the country, as they are the main catalyst for economic growth, provide employment opportunities for a large part of the population and play a vital role in encouraging innovation, regional development and social responsibility.
