The Ministry of Economy and Labor today launched Public Call for support for the development, maintenance and implementation of socially acceptable practices of business entities, part of the Program for support of the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry and social responsibility for 2024.
With this measure, are reimbursed part of the costs of the Ministry of Economy and Labor for the development, maintenance and implementation of socially acceptable practices of business entities, in the amount of MKD2.000.000.
Business entities registered in the Republic of North Macedonia, which have established/acquired a certificate/are recertified with a certificate/have prepared a report on social responsibility management systems during 2023 and 2024 can apply to the Public Call according to:
- the SA 8000 standard and or the report from: BSCI/SMETA/GOTS/STEP; or
- the ESG standard (Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standard).
The Ministry of Economy and Labor will reimburse the costs of:
- Establishment/acquisition/recertification with a certificate/report for social responsibility management systems, according to the SA 8000 standard/audit report according to: BSCI/SMETA/GOTS/STEP, in the amount of 60% of the proven costs of business entities, but not more than MKD200.000.00 individually for each applicant for funds. Only proven establishment/acquisition/recertification costs incurred in 2023 and 2024 will be reimbursed.
- The preparation of the report for practices Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), in the amount of 60% of the proven costs of the business entities, but not more than MKD200.000.00 per applicant for funds. Only the proven costs for preparing the report/certification incurred in 2023 and 2024 will be reimbursed.
