Today, the Minister of Economy and Labor Besar Durmishi held meeting with H.E. Cyrille Baumgartner, the Ambassador of France to the Republic of North Macedonia.
Minister Durmishi emphasized at the meeting that the economic cooperation between Macedonia and France is excellent and intense, and the support that France gives to our country is of great importance for the integration of the country in the Euro-Atlantic structures.
The Minister and the Ambassador agreed that there is a desire and potential to expand the mutual cooperation in several areas, more specifically in the area of investments by interested French companies, engaging in the construction of capital facilities in the energy sector and increasing the number of tourists from France in our country, and vice versa.
Minister Durmishi expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for the support that the Republic of France constantly gives to the Republic of North Macedonia, and especially to the Ministry of Economy and Labor.
Ambassador Cyrille Baumgartner thanked the Minister for the meeting, promising that France's support for North Macedonia as a friendly country will continue in the future.
