The Minister of Economy and Labor, Besar Durmishi, as part of his official visit to Pristina, Republic of Kosovo, today had a working meeting with the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli.
During the official visit and meeting, opinions were exchanged on important issues related to the deepening of trade cooperation between the two countries, future regional connectivity projects.
During the meeting, Minister Durmishi noted that the Ministry of Economy and Labor, by assuming the new responsibilities, will be focused, among other things, on greater regional connection and support of domestic business to increase competitiveness.
"We are interested in increasing cooperation with the Republic of Kosovo in every field. The vision and strategy that we have in front of us as a Government foresees closer regional cooperation, and only through mutual support, especially in the area of regional projects, I am confident that the benefits will be bilateral and progress will be visible for both countries," said Minister Durmishi.
Minister Durmishi expressed his strong belief that regional competitiveness will strengthen the resilience of the region, bring prosperity to the citizens, create a stronger labor market, bring growth and bright future for the economies and at the same time prepare them for entry at the large market of the European Union.
The two Ministers agreed that there are several initiatives for regional connectivity, and there is awareness among both Governments of the benefits that regional integration brings. It is necessary to work actively on both sides to implement the initiatives and agreements for the implementation of regional integrations.
