The Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor Marjan Risteski today held working meeting with Marjan Risteski, President of the Confederation of Trade Union Organizations of Macedonia (TUOM).
The two interlocutors at the meeting discussed several current topics regarding the rights of workers in North Macedonia and the social dialogue that is implemented through the Economic and Social Council (ESC):
"The catastrophic situation with the budget of the Republic of North Macedonia, ruined institutions, corruption and non-transparent operations are only part of the things that we inherited from our predecessors and it is something that we will have to overcome, Deputy Minister Risteski said at the meeting.
As Deputy Minister Risteski emphasized, the top priority of the Ministry of Economy and Labor and the Government is to create quality solutions for all important social and economic issues through open dialogue and cooperation with the unions, within the framework and respecting the legal regulations in the country.
The excellent cooperation with the Unions is a top priority for the Ministry of Economy and Labor and the meetings with the representatives of all the Unions will continue in the coming period.
