Deputy Minister of Economy and Labour Marjan Risteski, Director of the Agency for Innovation, Scientific and Technological Development and Entrepreneurship - INOVA Daniela Dimovska, as well as the Mayor of Prilep Dejan Prodanoski and the President of the Bitola Council, Bojan Bojkoski, today visited the regional offices of the Employment Agency in Prilep and Bitola.
During the visit, the heads of the regional offices and the employees of the centers discussed the process of applying for Public Calls, as well as the potential challenges they faced and overcame during the submission of applications.
- Today is the last day of applying for the Public Calls for the measure for Entrepreneurship - Self-employment with a grant and the interest is great throughout the country and the employment centers were full of interested citizens. I would like to thank the employees who, with their professionalism and dedication to their work, were up to the task these two weeks, successfully dealt with all the challenges and met the needs of all citizens - said Deputy Minister Risteski.
He emphasized that interest is very high for the three Public Calls and that before the start of the last day of applying at the state level, the number of 5.000 people has been exceeded.
- After the historically high interest last year, as well as the over 5.000 applications received so far, the correctness of our decision to increase the volume of funds from the Operational Plan for this measure and expand the scope by an additional 300 people is confirmed. I am extremely satisfied with the number of applications, which only confirm that our citizens want to work, want to have their own business and have excellent and innovative ideas - added Risteski.
Risteski also expressed his satisfaction with the great interest in the measure in the Pelagonia region, where 311 applications had been received in Prilep and 180 in Bitola by yesterday.
