Deputy Minister of Economy and Labour, Marjan Risteski, held a working meeting today with representatives of the largest Chambers of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce of Northwestern Macedonia and the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Macedonia.
At the meetings, Risteski presented the measure from the Public Call "Employment and Growth of Legal Entities" within the framework of the Operational Plan for Employment, through which support is provided in the creation of new jobs in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, social enterprises and civil society organizations.
- Creating new jobs is a priority for the Government and the Ministry of Economy and Labour, and this year, through the Operational Plan for Active Programs and Measures for Employment and Services on the Labor Market for 2026, we are creating more than 3.500 new jobs. With the measure "Employment and Growth of Legal Entities", we provide support to companies to increase the number of employees, this year this measure will cover 1.385 people, and the total budget is MKD332.650.000 or about EUR5.4 million - said Deputy Minister Risteski.
At the Public Call, a company can apply for financial support for up to 5 jobs and total support from MKD800.000 to MKD1.250.000, depending on the target group and the number of approved employments. This year, the largest financial support of MKF250.000 is foreseen for the employment of young persons up to 29 years of age.
Risteski and representatives of the Chambers of Commerce appealed to all companies that are interested and meet the stipulated conditions to apply at one of the centers of the Employment Agency.
