Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor, Marjan Risteski, met today with the Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, H.E. Jan Axel Voss, where they discussed several topics, such as economic cooperation, investments and processes related to the European integration of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Deputy Minister Risteski expressed great gratitude for the continuous support that Germany provides to the Republic of North Macedonia and all Western Balkan countries in the process of European integration, which contributes to greater stability and economic development of the region.
The interlocutors concluded that economic cooperation is at a high level, Germany is our largest trading partner, accounting for around 24% of our country's total trade, and in the period from January to September 2025, the total volume of trade is over three billion Euros, of which 2.2 billion are exports, and over EUR848 million are imports.
Risteski emphasized that the Ministry of Economy and Labor and the Government remain committed to implementing reforms and improving the economic climate and opportunities for greater investment in our country.
